How it works

How much time do I need to create a dream pair of shoes?

I ask brides to give me 5 - 6 weeks notice. This ensures that I have enough time to plan out the design, get all the right materials, get to work and pop them in the post so you have them in time for your special day. If your date is just around the corner, I can do urgent orders, however they're subject to availability.

1 - We’ll create a brief together

  • I recommend that you take a look at my previous designs for some inspiration. We can personalise one of these or come up with something completely new.

  • We’ll have an initial discussion so I can find out more about your big day and ideas. This means we’ll have a really clear design brief.

  • Most brides choose to have this discussion over the phone or FaceTime, however, we can also do this over email. Whatever suits you!

2 - I’ll create and share a variety of draft ideas and designs

  • Once I have your brief, I’ll get to work on crafting some ideas and draft designs personal to you.

  • We'll have a collaborative Pinterest board dedicated to you, allowing us to collaborate on ideas and inspiration to ensure you get a pair of shoes you'll love. We can share images via email if you'd prefer that over Pinterest.

  • I’ll share these with you and then we’ll have a catch-up over the phone or via FaceTime so I can get some feedback on the designs.

4 - We’ll confirm the detailed design brief and I’ll provide a quote

  • This is the bit I enjoy the most! I’ll take the feedback you gave you me and create a final proposed design.

There's a lot of love, care and attention to detail that goes into making a bespoke pair of shoes, so I'll send you a quote that factors in:

  • Creating designs

  • Sourcing and cost of materials (including the base shoes)

  • Hand-making your bespoke shoes

  • Packaging and delivery

When you're happy with the quote and want to proceed, I ask for a deposit of 50% to confirm the order.

Please note that the deposit is non-refundable as this helps me cover the cost of materials.

4 - I’ll get to work on your dream shoes

  • Once you're happy with the final proposed design, I'll ask for the 2nd final payment.

  • I'll then keep you up-to-date on the progress of your shoes via email, giving you peace of mind.

5 - As soon as your shoes are complete, they'll be in the post...

  • When I'm happy that your shoes are perfect, I'll let you know when they have been carefully packaged and put in the post.

  • They'll arrive in a well presented shoe box with a ribbon detail.
